Thought useful to put up bit of background as have put up a couple of posts
had it a few years but diagnosed this time last year, gradual process which forced me to give up alot of what i'd been doing (too much social stuff, country stuff, half marathons and triathlons) led me to several trips to gp with advice to rest, sure that's a common theme which nras are working to resolve hooray, eventually forced the issue and had bloods etc
had a year of metho and plaquenil since with bouts of steroids and still playing the game terms of finding a good workable mix like it seems everybody else is also doing!
reason for coming here was to fill a gap ihave, now have great gp in chelt and great consultant in london but nothing in between as left nhs chelt, it really was terrible.
I'm not going to mistake a rheumi team for a very cool bulletin board but it is helping to fill the gap in knowledge and to get common responses, the one common theme everyone talks about is their 'team'
I'm fine and working and in thirties and happy, ra is just another challenge right, i like nras as it put's a real positive spin and feel on what would otherwise, and has been an awful old road.
Thanks to everyone and all replies
